The Rochester firm acquires Gaetano Construction and C2C Construction





UTICA, NY – A Rochester company has acquired Utica-based construction company Charles A. Gaetano Construction Corp. and its spin-off company C2C Construction Solutions LLC.

The Pike Company, a fifth-generation construction company, retained all employees and senior management, including office and field staff.

“Pike wanted to establish an office in central New York, and it made sense to merge with an established company like ours that has a loyal customer base,” Gaetano Construction President Brian Gaetano said in a press release. “The merger ensures no disruption to our local operations and provides job security for all of our employees. Founded in 1960, Gaetano is a full-service general contracting, construction management and design-build company. The second-generation company’s portfolio includes work in the commercial, industrial, healthcare, government and apartment building markets. The company has been in business for over 60 years.

Gaetano’s success with metal buildings and various projects under the design-build method led the company to form C2C ​​Construction Solutions in 2018. C2C provides both design and construction services in the center and upstate New York, including a recently announced distribution center in Schuyler. Depot will rent. C2C works on projects of all sizes including factory renovations and rehabilitations, timber frame buildings, and all types of metal buildings.
