Investigation underway after 1 injured and 2 killed in Nashville house fire
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An investigation is ongoing after one person was injured and two people were found dead in a house fire in the Parkwood Estates area on Saturday morning.
Crews from the Nashville Fire Department were dispatched to the 3000 block of Leondale Terrace just before 8:30 a.m. in response to a residential fire.

Once at the scene, crews noticed signs of obstruction at the front door and were able to rescue one person from the home. This individual was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he is currently recovering.
According to Nashville Fire, as crews made their way deeper into the house, they discovered two bodies. The Office of the Medical Examiner is currently working to identify the victims.
Nashville Fire says the scene is now being treated as an arson and homicide investigation. The Metro Police are assisting the Nashville Fire Department with the investigation.
