Hendersonville: Office, apartment arson investigation

A fire at an office and apartment building in Hendersonville is being investigated as possible arson. (Video above: Morning Headlines) Police say they were called around 3:15 a.m. Wednesday to assist the Hendersonville Fire Department with a fire at 104 First Ave. East. They said the building contains several offices and an apartment. The apartment was occupied at the time and the individual was able to escape the building unscathed, police said. Police said two suspects wearing dark clothing were captured on video in the area at the time of the fire. The incident is being investigated as arson and detectives are asking downtown residents and businesses to submit camera footage to Detective Zeff Childress by calling 828-697-3071.
