Gunfire in lobby of Bronx public housing complex kills one

Bronx detectives are looking for the suspect who shot dead a 44-year-old man in the lobby of a building on Saturday night.
Police sources said the victim was shot dead in the neck inside the lobby of a Mill Brook Houses building at 584 East 137th St. in Mill Basin at around 6:21 p.m. on December 4.
The officers of the 40th arrondissement and NYPD PSA 7 found the injured man while responding to a 911 call regarding an assault.
EMS transported the victim to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter. The police withheld his identity, pending notification of the family.
At the start of the investigation, police had few details about the shooting. The motive for the murderous attack remains unknown and the police did not have a description of the shooter.
So far, no arrests have been made in connection with the ongoing investigation, authorities said.
