Fire breaks out at apartment building in Foothill Farms – CBS Sacramento

FOOTHILL FARMS – Several people have been displaced after a building fire at Foothill Farms.

The fire broke out on Sunday afternoon in a two-story apartment. When firefighters arrived, they found “a large fire” in the attic, according to the Sac Metro Fire Department.

The fire caused extensive damage to two units. Six other units have smoke and water damage.

All residents of the building at that time were safely evacuated. One person was assessed for minor burns.

The Red Cross has been asked to help displaced residents for an indefinite period.
