Each year, Midwest Real Estate News elects a new class to its Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame. Last year, despite its challenges, was no exception. Here is a look at the busy career of Carl Conceller, director of NAI DESCO in St. Louis.

During his 41-year career in commercial real estate, Carl Conceller has accumulated a variety of experiences, including 10 years in a national design-build company, five years in facilities consulting and 31 years in brokerage. Conceller has the knowledge, skills and experience to help clients navigate a winning strategy in complex negotiations.

Conceller has carried out sales, rental and advisory transactions involving office, medical, healthcare, retirement homes, industrial buildings, land, investments, sale-leaseback and 1031 tax exchanges. on behalf of individual owners, businesses and non-profit clients. To date, he has completed over 575 transactions totaling approximately 6.5 million square feet valued at $ 600 million.

“Commercial real estate has given me the opportunity to use my experience, knowledge and skills to help my clients make informed decisions in developing real estate strategies in the management, acquisition and disposition of commercial goods, ”Conceller said.

As a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors and a designated specialist in the office and industrial market segments, Conceller prides itself on the long-term relationships it has developed with its clients. He has represented them in many repeated engagements to achieve their real estate and facilities goals.

In his spare time, Conceller, an avid Cardinals enthusiast, travels, plays golf, fishes for trout and enjoys good food and wine.
