Car crashes into SF apartment building, injures 4, displaces 15 – NBC Bay Area
Four people were injured and 15 were forced from their homes after a car crashed into an apartment building in San Francisco’s Nob Hill neighborhood on Friday night.
Around 9 p.m., fire crews were dispatched to the 1500 block of Clay Street after a car crashed into an apartment building, severed a gas line and started a fire, department officials say San Francisco Fire Department.
Two people were seriously injured and two were slightly injured, SFFD officials said on social media on Saturday morning.
Crews were able to bring the blaze under control around 10:15 p.m. and the Red Cross is assisting those displaced, according to firefighters.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation and no arrests have been made, according to San Francisco police officials.
